USA Diving 2006-2007 Season
2007 USD Rules and Fees Clarification for the Summer Junior Meets

After the many emails we received concerning this different ways to register for the Junior meets this summer, here is the clarification (by USA Diving Nationals) about how to register (online with divemeets.com or mail in to avoid the online fees) to the 2007 USD Summer Junior meets.

  1. - USA Diving's official entry fee for the junior region, East/West and Speedo Junior Nationals is $25 per event
  2. - Our (USA Diving's) current rules require that each event have a "mail-in" registration option (divers and parents that do not want to pay an additional on-line registration fee can register this way)
  3. - Divers that qualify for the Speedo Junior National Diving Championships are automatically entered into the meet, so no mail in registration is necessary (the East/West meet directors pass on the entries to the junior national meet director).
    • The junior nationals meet director can request that the divers register in advance via divemeets.com, for which divemeets.com charges an additional on-line registration fee;
    • or the divers can simply register at the meet as per our rules...no additional entry fees or on-line fees can be charged to the divers who register at the meet
    • the meet hosts of the junior nationals can have the divers fill out paper dive sheets or submit their dive sheets via the divemeets.com meet management system, however, they cannot charge the divers an additional fee (i.e. $3.50/event) for this option - any fees that divemeets.com charges the meet hosts is between divemeets.com and the meet hosts...our current rules do not allow these fees to be passed on to the meet participants...the participants are simply required to pay the official USA Diving entry fee of $25/event.
