  FINA Ranking of Divers
FINA Diving Ranking
  • To rank divers in at the senior world level, FINA has developed a system based on a point system.
  • Divers compete at international meets throughout the year. In the past, the 4 best results for each diver, per 1 year (12 months) period are added then divided by 4 and the average determines the divers' rank.
  • The New System adopted at the end of 2006 and set to start in 2007, will take the 3 (Three) best results per diver, per event, per 1 year period, add them and divide them by 3 to determine the divers' rank
  • Divers who compete the most at international meets have a better chance to be ranked higher up, providing they score high at meets (of course)
